From above blogs, (click on the links) I discovered these nice ladies had arrange their roses in different containers and vases, so I decided to copy and do the same.

I went down to the garden to cut the flowers. Here I wrote I have been down to the garden to cut... it's the beginning words of a famous nursery rythm.

As it was going to rain, I thought the flowers would be better inside that all alone under the rain.
Besides they were full of small insects that damage the tree.

I tried to fix that problem of insects, to do so I mixed some blue powder that is supposed to be good for the roses, but all went wrong and the rose bush became blue in one shot!

You can see here the blue leaves. I bought the vase in Venezia, Italia, beautiful place to discover.

And all this rose color is an Homage to the breast cancer striking ladies, a link in a chain that has started here.

tres belle!
(I don't know how to get the accents - sorry - it makes it hard to use babblefish to translate too!)

but what a wonderful idea to use unusual vessels as vases. I only wish my few roses were as beautiful as yours.

I do not take very good care of mine and am happy if they survive the winter. I do not have lovely full bushes at all. - lucky to get just a few blooms. Sigh.

Jeannie, tou work too much to have extra time to take care of your garden on the top of everything else.
I've noticed that Mother Nature is late compared to this part of Europe, so maybe you will have roses later in May or June, and why not, as I told Tweetey to buy a rose tree, and plant it next fall, they have now rose tree easy to maintain.
No need to put accents, don't worry with that.

Roses! Inside or outside, everywhere !!Wonderful roses.

I didn't know that after raining roses are easily damaged by insects?

I just might do that. I will have to see how much cash we have this fall.LOL.. Money is always my down fall but its what gave us our house in the first place. No complaints here. I will check on the rose bush tree. I would love one.

Thank you so much for visiting me today! I love your blog. Thank you, too, for having the English along with the French!! (My French is very very rusty)

Love the roses, they are so very beautiful.
