Tag meme my hand- Tag donne moi ta main

A hand that loves to hold another hand.
Une main qui aime gratter la terre.
A hand that loves to dig the garden soil.
A hand that loves to open a book.
A hand that likes to stir a wooden sauce spoon
Two hands that love to reach other hands.

I choose my right hand because it is the one that has my favorite ring, my immensely beautiful burmese ruby, cabochon pigeon heart.

I love it, I look at it, I talk to it, I say I love you. I say I love the one who gave it to me.

One day, I lost it, in a shopping center, Island Plaza in Penang, Malaysia, (my son in law parents where living nearby in those times).

The stone got out of the ring and fall down, I realise something was wrong because of the tiny weight not being here anymore.

I was looking on the floor, everywhere, crying, shaking, I couldn't think anymore. A sale attendant came to me and asked what was wrong. Then she looked by herself, she had noticed that some time before I had been looking at some dresses, she went there, and here it was, this tiny stone, under the dresses.

I bought a beautiful bouquet for her, I wrote to the Plaza manager, she got a bonus and a reward.

All above, you're tagged, you will tag whoever you want at your turn.

You are so fortunate to have found your ruby! And it was nice of you to reward the employee for finding it for you - as it was so good of her to do so. I'll bet your ring is doubly valued for having been so nearly ruined.
My husband lost an amethyst out of a ring that had been passed down in his family for generations. It fell out of his ring as he was driving down a highway - there was no chance of ever finding it. A few years later, we replaced the stone but I do not think the new one is as good quality. Amethysts do not have the value they once did long ago but they are still pretty.

Anyway, you're tagged first on the list, your turn.
Hey you understand French pretty well. I've got to translate it now.

What luck that you were able to find it! But clearly you have good karma working for you - you really went out of your way to reward the helpful employee.

Oh maman, what a lovely story, I didn't remember it. She is blessed with kindness, I hope life has paid her back tenfold.

Oh no, this employee was so nice, and I was SO happy to find the stone back, it was, as we say in French like to find a needle in a haystack, meaning: impossible, and she found it.

Papilles et Pupilles a dit…

I'm done!

LOL - I love words even if they are not in my own language. I had a little French in school and of course, we have both French and English on all our packaging so there are some things that get absorbed. There is much I miss of course but I get the jist of it. I would be totally lost listening and could never speak much more than "bonjour".
