Nature morte

Une colonie de champignons s'est installée sur une vieille souche;
An old tree stump is been invaded with wild mushrooms, I won't try to cook and eat them.

It's time to do some cleaning in my garden.
Especially those nasturtium, they are happy in the garden and climb everywhere.
But I have a big problem, Mr Garden doesn't like Nasturtium, or capucines as we call them here. It seems they understand and play a trick to him, they grow beyond measure.

Look at that, we alomost don't see anymore the tree bush under the large nasturtium leaves,
And here they are going onto the terrace. Elles vont bientôt arriver sur la terrasse.

Bonsoir !

Hello there my friend,
There is your beautiful garden. Even when you and Mr Garden say it is need of repair, all I see is wonderful beauty.
So you are back home now? I am so glad you were able to spend time with Helene. Will you be going back when it is time for that precious baby to be born?

I think you can eat nasturtiums. I would threaten them to behave.

I don't think you can eat that particular fungus but if they are what I think, you can "draw" on them using a sharp stick.

Hello Kitem! Your garden is beautiful even if you think it is overgrown.
When is your granchild due? Mine is due early December!
Such an exciting time!

Thank you all for your nice comments even though i found this post ugly when I opened it this morning.
Yes, Jules, I will be there when the precious baby arrives.
To Pat, she is due early January. Helene says she is putting on weight now, she is quite tired.
Yes very exciting time.

Ah nasturtiums! I have always liked that flower, for its vivid colors, the green and red-orange contrasting. And they have a lovely delicate scent. And you can eat them (I've never tried it)....but they DO grow like weeds!
