Penang Ferry

To go Kuala Lumpur, we have the choice of crossing the straights of Malacca through a very long beautiful bridge, or to take the old ferry.
We first saw the huge starcruise cruseboat in Hong Kong on his inaugural trip, it now calls at Georgetown, king size in the middle of the straight.
The sea looks blue but the heat, a bit of pollution and the smoke from the paddy fields, there, at the foot of the Gunung Jerai, mount Kedah make it hazy.
Looking back, you see the towers of the island, and the hills in the middle.
In the haze, the bridge, a bit faraway.
Penang, the pearl Island.
I like to take hundreds of photos, thanks to the blog of to facebook I am able to share them, but not as much as I would like, I don't post everyday (lazy fellow)
We can see the bridge, and another island called Pulau Gerejak, beautiful with is primary jungle, but it is going to have tall buildings soon, it was a prison during war times.

Kitem, I have not sat the ferry for a long time, always used the bridge. Assuming you are coming back to KL. Have a great week :D

It looks so beautiful. I love the ocean very much.

Hope your trip has been wonderful - seeing your family and the sights. perfectly understandable that you have no time for us. Look forward to seeing you more when you are home and the garden is fixed up again.
