Red is the color of prosperity, luck and hapiness fot the Chinese, these beautiful lanterns are found everywhere in Kuala Lumpur, all over Malaysia, and Singapore.
Ici dans la cour centrale d'un centre commercial, ces centres sont tres beaux, nous n'avons pas l'equivalent en France, ils sont centres de promenade autant que de shopping.D'un autre cote, il n'y a pas de jolis centres villes anciens ou se promener le nez au vent,
ici, il y a des allees en plein air, mais beaucoup sont couvertes et climatisees, ce qui est un gros avantage dans ce pays de grosses chaleurs et d'averses tropicales aussi soudaines que violentes.
I took these pictures in only one shopping center, these Malaysian shopping center are huge and beautiful, as big as an town village center in Europe, they are air-cond and protect people from the scorching sun as well the pouring sudden tropical rain.

The thing is, I love that shade of red too. In the last town I lived in, they had an Asian store called The House of Rice which sold those lanterns and some other ones. I'd love to have them in the house. I love how they look.
